The Monterey Peninsula College Dance Department will present its Spring Dance Concert Thursday and Friday, June 5 & 6 on the MPC Main Stage Theatre. The show will feature works by local choreographers, MPC faculty and MPC dance students.  The show presents an eclectric variety of dance styles ranging from ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, ballroom and belly dance. The performances are at 8 PM.  Tickets are $10 general and $8 for students and seniors.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.  For information call 646-4220.

About the Dance Department


The Dance Department offers classes in a wide variety of dance forms.  There are sequences of courses in Jazz, Ballet, Modern and Tap Dance, and performing opportunities are available every semester. Ballroom Dance classes will keep you up to date on the latest social dances along with Hip Hop and Ethnic Dance Forms: Belly Dance.
