Continuing GrowthCalifornia passed a bill looking to expand its career PATHWAY programs (CTE/ROP) in its schools. (This link is more for counselors/educators) For California High SchoolsThere are 59 CTE programs available in California. Here you can view a list with all the programs as well as the standards adopted for each program. COECCCThe Centers of Excellence, in partnership with business and industry, deliver regional workforce research customized for community college decision making and resource development. Vision: We aspire to be the premier source of regional economic and workforce information and insight for community colleges. The Greater Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Region Centers of Excellence (COE) are one of ten statewide initiatives funded by the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office to assist community colleges in responding to emerging workforce needs. The COE compile industry profiles with occupational trends, training and skill requirements, and recommendations on how regional community colleges can respond. (focused towards educators, faculty, administrators) BACCCThe BACCC serves as a regional framework to enhance the coordination of regional programs; to increase collaboration on regional priorities; and to serve as a link between colleges Career Technical Education programs, Economic and Workforce Development Initiatives, and the Chancellor's Office.
