I've been teaching since 1973 and have been at MPC since 1980.  I graduated Teachers College, Columbia University with an MA in TESOL (1977) and an MEd in Applied Linguistics (1979).  Obviously, a lot has changed since then, but I've kept current by reading and following developments in the field.  My own particular interests are syntax and evolutionary psychology and related topics in Linguistics.
