Money Management - Week 14
Money is power, freedom, a cushion, the root of all evil, the sum of blessings.
--Carl Sandburg, poet
The number one reason college students give for dropping out of school is a lack of money. There are several sources of financial aid for students, but, unfortunately, many students do not even apply for these funds. Others have not learned sound budgeting practices, so even if they start the semester with adequate funds, they run out of money mid-term.
If you’d like information about sources of financial aid at MPC, visit the Student Financial Services office in the Student Center. You can also find information in the class schedule and at the Student Financial Services website.
