Open auditions for ANYTHING GOES will be held at Monterey Peninsula College on November 7, 8. A presentation of MPC Theater Company, this Tony Award musical is filled with great dances and delightful Cole Porter songs. We will be offering basic, simple tapping lessons to the entire cast in December prior to the start of rehearsals on January 5, 2010. While dancing ability is desirable, there is always room for good voices and good actors, regardless of their dancing expertise.
There are 24 featured roles for both men and women. In addition, we want a large dancing ensemble, both men and women. You do need to be at least 16 years of age to participate. Everyone will be asked to attend a Dance Audition as well as the General Auditions. Whichever Dance Audition you attend be sure to be present at the start time.
Please prepare one song and one short monologue. There will be an accompanist present so bring your sheet music. Wear shoes that you can dance in – no flip flops or athletic shoes.
