ESL Center Course
ENSL 300/400 Individualized Study for ESL Students
This course can be taken for credit (.5, 1.0, or 1.5 units) or for no credit (zero units).
To receive credit, the student must complete twenty-five and one-half hours in the lab for each one-half unit of credit. Students must keep a written record (a lab card) of the work completed in the lab. Software and web-based materials are provided.
This program of study consists of computer-centered activities designed to improve skills in reading, grammar, listening, and pronunciation for ESL students enrolled in MPC’s ESL classes in levels 1-5. Students work at their own pace at individual computers and can consult with an ESL instructor during regular lab hours.
This course may be taken four times for credit. |
