| About the World Languages Lab
The World Languages lab is equipped with digital interactive audio and video technology, word processing and Internet on 50 computers. The lab also provides computer-free tables where students may study or interact quietly with fellow students.
Our open door policy makes it possible for students to attend the World Languages Lab at their leisure on a first-come, first-serve computer basis. Students are able to make use of the lab for as many hours as they like. There is no limit on lab hours.
It is the policy of this college that all World Languages students who are taking one of the above mentioned classes for credit or non-credit, be required to attend the lab for two hours per week for a total of 32 hours and carry out laboratory assignments.
The lab is staffed with one language instructor and one coordinator during open hours. Tutoring is available in the lab or through the Academic Support Center free of charge. Announcements will be posted in the lab at the beginning of the semester.
You may listen to the Lab Orientation to familiarize yourself with the lab's policies: (link to Lab Orientation)
