Gentrain
The Gentrain (General Education Train of Courses) Program has been at Monterey Peninsula College since 1974. It is an interdisciplinary course in Western history and is presented in fifteen two-week courses throughout the school year on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. It can be taken for credit or non-credit. The instructional team is made up of four faculty members each from the following specialties: literature/drama, philosophy/religion, history and art. Guest lecturers are added for science presentations.
