New Smog Technician License:
- 1 year experience or education in Engine Performance (Auto 103)
- A6 Electrical from ASE or BAR approved A6 Alternative within the last 5 years
- A8 Engine Performance from ASE or BAR approved A8 Alternative within the last 5 years
- L1 Advanced Engine Performance from ASE or BAR approved L1 Alternative within the last 5 years
- Basic Clean Air Car course within the last 2 years (Includes 2003 Update Training and OBDII Training)
- Enhanced Clean Air Car course within the last 2 years
- 2007 Update course
- Take the exam
