Skills Competition Schedule

The Skills Competition begins at 9:00am

A	Mock Certification: A multiple choice ASE-style certification exam with 50 questions. Click here for an outline of topics.	45 minutes
B	Measuring & Component ID: An event which involves perfoming measurements using a micrometer and electrical measurements using a Digital MultiMeter (DMM). Competitors will also be tested on their ability to identify automotive service tools and parts found on a modern automobile. Click here for list of possibilities for identification. C	On Car Maint & Service: This event will test the competitors ability to perform professional-level maintenance service on an automobile. Click here to see a copy of the inspection report.	45 minutes

11:30 to 12:45 Lunch and Guest Speaker

12:45 to 1:45

Head-to-Head Wheel Rotation Competition : two teams (chosen randomly) will face-off in a competition to see who can perform a professional quality wheel rotation in the shortest amount of time.

Industry Booths: open until 1:45

1:45 to 2:15 Awards

Prizes will be awarded for:

- The highest overall team score

- The highest school cumulative score

- The fastest time in the wheel rotation competition
