Team Event

Teams of two will compete for highest overall score.

The team event consists of three parts:

1. Mock ASE Certification Exam

2. Measurement, Component ID, Scan Tool Usage,

3. On-Car Maintenance Inspection

B	Measurement, Component ID, Scan Tool Usage 1. Using micrometers: measure 3 different items using 0-1” micrometer. 2. Identifying automotive components (25 items). C	On Car Maintenance Inspection Based on AUTO 100 final exam. Basic maintenance/safety inspection on a car. Click here for a copy of the inspection form.	45 minutes	100	Outside

Each part will have equal weight in tabulating the total score.

Highest team score will be calculated as follows:

ASE-style certification exam 50 points each X 2 on each team

Vehicle inspection 100 points

Measurement and parts ID 100 points

Total - 300 points
