Marine Science and Technology
The Marine Science and Technology Program prepares students for technical careers in marine science and technology by providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in this exciting and diverse field.
Monterey Peninsula College serves as the headquarters for the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Center. The Center is one of several Advanced Technolgical Education (ATE) Centers established with funding from the National Science Foundation's ATE Program. The Center is a national partnership of educational institutions and organizations working to improve marine technical education in the U.S. and to meet the workplace needs of America's marine-related workforce and employers.
