Welcome to the Maurine Church Coburn School of Nursing

The Maurine Church Coburn School of Nursing offers the associate of science degree leading to RN licensure, as well as both professional and community health education courses. The program is offered in partnership with Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.

The Maurine Church Coburn School of Nursing is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) and accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).

Application Cycle for class entering 2012 ended December 12th 2011. Applications for class entering 2013 will be accepted  starting September 24th, 2012 and ending October 5th, 2012. 

The CSU Monterey Bay Department of Extended Education and the College of Professional Studies are pleased to announce the launch of their Nursing Program leading to the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing.

CSUMB is Accepting Applications starting January 1, 2012.
Program begins Summer 2012.
(Note: Applicants must be accepted or on the waitlist to a nursing program at one of four partnering regional community colleges, including Monterey Peninsula College.)

 Students who complete the program will receive an associate’s degree from their community college and a bachelor of science in nursing from CSUMB.
