Official Transcripts  

Upon the written request of the student, official transcripts are mailed by the Admissions and Records Office.  The first two copies of a student’s transcript requested in a lifetime, under normal mail procedures, are provided at no charge. After the first two copies, there is a $ 5.00 charge for each transcript.  There is a $ 15.00 per copy charge for transcripts issued for same day service.  Transcript processing time may take up to two weeks.  Transcripts cannot be released if the student has any outstanding debts and/or obligations due the District.  College policy does not permit the faxing of transcripts.  Transcripts from high school and other colleges will not be forwarded by MPC.

STEPS TO REQUEST OFFICIAL MPC TRANSCRIPT

All requests must be received in writing.  Email requests are not accepted.   The official transcript includes ONLY courses completed at Monterey Peninsula College.

A two-week notice is required for processing routine transcript requests.  The College uses U.S. mail service.

The first two transcripts requested in a lifetime, through routine processing, are free.
Thereafter, they are $ 5.00 per copy for routine processing.

Same day service is: $ ­15.00 per copy.

If a fee is required, it must accompany the request. 

We accept checks and money orders through the mail. If using a credit card, the credit card number must be clearly written and the expiration date of the credit card must also be given. You must clearly state on the request, whether you are requesting same day service.  The fax number for Admissions and Records is: (831) 646-4015. We accept only Visa and MasterCard.

College policy does not permit us to fax transcripts.

  • Name (current and any used in the past)
  • Social security number
  • Date of birth
  • Dates (approximate) of attendance at MPC

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcript that reflect enrollment from Fall 1995 through the previous semester/session may be obtained at our web site (www.mpc.edu), click Admission, click Unofficial Transcript.  Students who attended before 1995 must request an official transcript from the Admissions and Records Office.
