WEB REGISTRATION  

 
All students attending Monterey Peninsula College have been assigned a Student Identification Number that will be used to conduct all MPC business.  Social Security Numbers will no longer be used as student numbers.

MPC will continue to collect social security numbers during the application process for financial aid purposes, IRS reporting (1098T-HOPE Scholarship), and internal use only.  Each student will be assigned a computer generated nine (9) digit ID number which will be used for registration, grading and other record keeping purposes.

MPC transcripts do not have social security numbers printed on them

Should a student forget his/her ID number, the student must bring a photo ID to the Admissions and Records Office or phone the Admissions and Records Office (831-646-4002/4007) and the ID number will be mailed.  ID numbers will not be given over the telephone.  

You must complete an Application for Admission if you are not a continuing student (enrolled the immediate preceding semester) or if you are a student in grades 6 - 12.  Please go to CCCApply for the web application or click here for a paper copy of the Application for Admission.

All MPC debts must be cleared prior to registering.  Payments are made at Fiscal Services which is located in the Administration Building.  There is also a mailbox outside the building to drop off payments.  Fiscal Services' office hours are:

 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM -Monday - Thursday
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Friday

The instructor's permission is required for Late Registration.  An " Add Code" number, given by the instructor, is required to register using  WebReg.  You may also register late in person with the instructor's signature. 

HOW DO I USE WebReg (Web Registration)?

    • Verify the date/time registration begins.
    • Complete the WebReg Worksheet.
    • Enter your Social Security /Student ID Number
    • Enter your Birth Date 
    • Click on Login 
    • Select the SEMESTER and Add/Drop/Register Function
    • Enter the four (4) digit section number of each class.  You may enter up to six (6) section numbers, click "submit sections." 
    • After verifying your class schedule, click "complete transaction" to finalize your courses.  
    • Select optional fees and select payment method.

If you indicated payment by check or cash, complete the WebReg Payment Slip (PDF File).  Mail or If drop off payment at the Fiscal Services Office located in the Administration Building.  Office hours are:  9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Friday.
