Men's Basketball

Coach Blake graduated from St. Bernard High School in Eureka, CA where he was voted M.V.P. by his peers on his basketball team that finished the season ranked 2^nd in California. After high school, Coach Blake went on to get his A.A. from Cuesta Community College in San Luis Obispo, Ca. There he was a two year starter and earned All-Conference his sophomore season and earned the “Mr. Defense” award his sophomore year. Next he went on to Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California where he finished his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management. At NDNU, he also started for two years and was an All-Conference player and earned the “Mr. Defense” award both seasons at NDNU.

After graduation, Coach Blake was hired as assistant coach at NDNU.  Coach Blake spent one year at NDNU, then went to Sonoma State University where he spent four years as the head assistant coach.  From there, Coach Blake was hired at San Jose City College and spent four years as the head assitant coach.

Coach Blake earned his Masters degree in Health, Physical Education, & Recreation at St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA.

Coach Blake resides in Monterey with his wife Ania.

• Notre Dame de Namur University, Belmont CA:  Two-year starter; All-Conference and "Mr. Defense Award" both seasons
• Cuesta Community College, San Luis Obispo CA:  Two-year starter; All-Conference sophomore year; voted "Mr. Defense" sophomore year; "Most Improved" award freshman year

CARSON PADON - ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Carson Padon is from Davis, California.  He is entering his third season as a member of the Lobos coaching staff.  He graduated class of 2000 from Davis High School and went on to earn his AA Degree from Sacramento City College.  Coach Carson earned his BA in History at California State University Monterey Bay with minors in both coaching and sports management.  He is currently working on his teaching credential.  Coach Carson hopes to become a teacher as well as a head coach at either the high school or junior college level.
