Come cheer on your 4-1 Lobos when they face Chabot College Tuesday at 7 pm.
MPC 69, Reedley 57
The Lobos get back on track with a non-conference win against Reedley College. Rochelle Welsh scored 20 points to lead the Lobos. Natasha Ray added 16 points and Annette Ruvalcaba netted 12 points for MPC. The 4-1 Lobos face off against Chabot Tuesday Night at 7 pm.
Cuesta 47, MPC 45
The Monterey Peninsula College women's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season with 47-45 defeat at the hands of Cuesta College. Freshmen Rochelle Welsh had 13 points and seven rebounds, Sophomore Felesha Adams added 10 points and Sophomore Anastasia Jones finished with eight rebounds for the Lobos. The road warriors travel to Fresno to play Reedley Thursday.
Mission Tourney Champs

The Lobos (3-0) defeated Marin College 88-81 in a total team effort in tournament finals. Lead by Sophmore Felesha Adams'  27-point effort  and a 22-point performance from Freshman Natasha Ray. Freshman Annie Mahaney added 14 points, while Sophmore Anastasia Jones tallied 10 points for the Lobos.

Monterey Peninsula College looks to extend its winning streak when it takes on Cuesta College on Wednesday in San Luis Obispo.

MPC 73, Saddleback 58
The Lobos roll on with a win over Saddleback College, placing them in the finals of the the Mission College Basketball Tournament. The point guard duo of Sophmore Annette Rulvacaba and Sophomore Ashley Hayes handled the stiff Saddleback pressure with ease, as the Lobos finally wore out Saddleback on their way to a semifinal win. Freshman Natasha Ray led the Lobos with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Felesha Adams scored 17 points and Freshman Annie Mahaney added 15 points. The Lobos will face off against College of Marin for the championship Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
MPC 72, Napa 46
The Lobo's pressure defense and a balanced offensive attack proved to be too much for Napa Valley in the opening game of the Mission Tourney. Sophomore Annette Ruvalcaba tallied 16 points and seven steals to lead the Lobos. Sophomore Felesha Adams added 13 points, while Freshmen Rochelle Welsh finished with 13 points and 11 boards. MPC moves on in the winners bracket to face Saddleback Today, 6 pm at Mission College, Santa Clara.

Lobos kick off the 2009 - 2010 season at the Misson Tourney November 6-8. First Game against Napa Valley Friday at 2 pm.
