The 2010 MPC 4th Annual Jumpstart Tournament was a success. The competition was great, the weather cooperated and fans were out in support.

The MPC softball team began its season by hosting its own tournament, losing its first three games before breaking through in the finale.
The Lobos beat Mission 9-5, with Maicey Madden picking up two hits — including a home run — and driving in four RBIs. Kelsey Know, Iesha Ybarra and Mallory Rose each had two hits in the win. Kristen DeGraff picked up the win, striking out six in the complete game.
MPC lost its opener 5-2 to Victorville, but Kelley Mast had two hits and an RBI.
MPC dropped its second game 5-0 to College of the Siskiyou, but Mast, Kelsey Know and Hilary Williams all had hits.
MPC lost its third game 5-3 to Feather River after giving up four runs and the lead in the fifth inning. Rose and Mast both had a single, double and triple, while Madden had a hit and two RBIs.
