Monterey Peninsula College Occupation Education Program offers the student basic technical and professional curricula to gain the skills and knowledge needed for employment, job advancement, certification, and/or the associate degree.
The college offers the Certificate of Achievement which recognizes a student's satisfactory completion of an organized program of study. Some departments provide a Certificate of Completion to students who successfully complete a short term, intensive course sequence designed to prepare students for entry-level employment opportunities.
Students who complete these certificate programs are encouaged to return to Monterey Peninsula College to complete an associate degree.
