The Campus Safety/Security Office is located in the College Center Building and can be reached by dialing: (831) 646-4099.
Office hours for the Campus Safety/Security Office are:
Monday through Friday: 6:00 a.m. to midnight.
Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
At other times Monterey Police Department (non-emergency, officer needed) can be reached at (831) 646-3914.
Jeanne Cleary and Campus Crime Statistics
In compliance with the Jeanne Cleary Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Monterey Peninsula College posts the Annual Security Report-Campus Crime Statistics and reports this information to the Office of Postsecondary Education Campus Security Statistics Website in cooperation with the U.S. Dept of Education at the following link: http://www.ope.ed.gov/security. A copy of the Annual Security Report-Campus Crime Statistics can also be obtained by contacting MPC Campus Security at 831-646-4005 or at Monterey Peninsula College-Campus Security, 980 Fremont St., Monterey, CA 93940.
Viewing Megan’s Law
Megan's Law (AB 488) signed by the Governor on September 24, 2004 has directed the Office of the Attorney General to provide the public with Internet access to detailed Megan's Law information on the the identities and whereabouts of approximately 63,000 registered offenders residing in California. This information can now be accessed at http://MegansLaw.ca.gov.
California's Megan's Law provides the public with certain information on the the whereabouts of sex offenders so that members of our local communities can protect themselves and their children. The law is not intended to punish the offender and specifically prohibits using the information to harass or commit any crime against the offender.

PARKING PERMITS (Fall 2011 and Spring 2012) $40.00 per semester for students enrolled in more than 6.0 units. $20.00 per semester for students enrolled in 6.0 or less units. NOTE: Permits are not required at the Education Center at Marina or SPS Center. Permits can be purchased by using WebReg or at the Fiscal Services Office located in the Ad¬ministration Building or at the Admissions and Records Office in the Student Services Building during office hours. Parking Permits are not mailed and must be picked up at the Admissions and Records Office in the Student Services Building during office hours. Valid parking permits, except daily permits from Monterey Peninsula College (MPC), are accepted at CSUMB. CSUMB permits are accepted at MPC.
