Certificate of Achievement

The college is authorized to offer the Certificate of Achievement.   A Certificate of Achievement recognizes a student's satisfactory completion of an organized program of study.  Certificate programs differ from degree programs in that students are not required to complete the general education requirements. Each course in the major must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.  Some programs require higher performance levels.  At least twelve (12) units applied toward the major requirements must be completed at Monterey Peninsula College.

Certificate of Training/List of Certificates of Training

Some academic departments provide a Certificate of Training to students who successfully complete a Fast Track program, a short term, intensive course sequence designed to prepare students for entry-level employment opportunity. Students must file an application for a Certificate of Training through the department offering the program.   Contact  academic departments which offer Certificates of Training for more information.
