Certificates of Training: List of Certificates (2010-11)

Some academic departments provide a Certificate of Training to students who successfully complete a Fast Track program, a short term, intensive course sequence designed to prepare students for entry-level employment opportunity. Students must file an application for a Certificate of Training through the department offering the program.   Contact  academic departments which offer Certificates of Training for more information.

Majors - Certificates of Achievement/Associate Degrees (non-transfer)

The career technical education programs offer the student basic technical and professional curricula to gain the skills and knowledge needed for employment, job advancement, certification and/or the associate degree.

A Certificate of Achievement is also available upon the completion of the CSU General Education-Breadth Program or the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum.

Majors - Associate Degrees (Transfer Curriculum)

The transfer program enables the student to complete the lower division requirements in preparation for transfer to a baccalaureate granting institution.  MPC courses parallel those offered to freshman and sophomore students at the University of California, California State University, and private colleges and universities.

See catalog for degree and certificate requirements in prior years.
