Education Center at Marina (289 12th Street, Marina, CA 93933)
Phase I - Modular buildings are currently on site to provide classroom and office space for the education center. Instruction began on this site in spring of 2008. Architectural drawings for Phase I of the permanent facilities are planned for submittal to Division of the State Architect in spring 2009.
This project will construct a new 12,000 GSF academic building at the education center site at Ft. Ord as the first phase in development of the center. The center is in close proximity to California State University, Monterey Bay and will offer a full range of developmental, transfer, and general education classes for the residents of the northern portion of the district.
Construction for Phase I is anticipated to be completed in Spring 2011.
