Library and Technology Building- As the first major new structure at MPC since the 1970s, the Library and Technology Building stands as the cornerstone of MPC’s long term redevelopment. Overlooking the City of Monterey, it houses computer labs, classrooms, multi-media rooms, group study rooms, teleconferencing capability and a faculty lounge in addition to its book and media collections.
The Library, which is open to members of the community, contains approximately 55,000 volumes and thousands of CDs, DVDs, audio/video tapes, microforms as well as electronic and paper books and periodicals. The collection is developed to support all courses taught at the college. Access to library materials is available through the MPC Library online catalog.
