MPC Community Stadium
This project completely refurbished and modernized the existing campus football stadium, track facility, and softball fields. With $100,000 in funding from a state waste tire grant, synthetic turf was installed on the football/soccer and softball fields. A new eight lane, all weather track was put in along with new bleachers and support facilities.
MPC offers intercollegiate athletic teams for men and women in twelve sports. Men’s football, women’s softball and women’s/men’s cross country and track and field teams utilize this new “outdoor classroom” facility.
