Future Projects
Phase II - The second phase of the Public Safety Training Center is proposed as a jointly funded state and local project to construct various laboratory facilities necessary to support training in the skills required in the peace officer and fire technology programs. These laboratory facilities will be located at the Parker Flats site and will consist of a high speed, emergency vehicle operations course, a burn building for live fire training, and a firing range.
The Initial Project Proposal for this second phase was submitted in July 2008 to the state Chancellor’s Office for 50% state funding consideration.
