Step 5: Advisement
New students attend an advisement session to complete an Individual Education Plan, complete the registration form and receive clearance Web Registration, In Person or Mail-in Regisrtration. Choose one of the following activities to complete the ADVISEMENT STEP.
- Complete the Individual Education Plan by completing your Advisement Session Online.
- Contact the Counseling Department (831-646-4020) to set up an appointment with a counselor to complete your Individual Education Plan.
- Complete the Individual Education Plan located on the website or in the Schedule of Classes and submit it to the Counseling Department for clearance for registration.
- File the Advisement Component Form with the Counseling Department for a clearance for registration if you attend another college and consider it your primary school.
New transfer students make an appointment for individual counseling sessions.
All students receiving veteran's benefits or financial aid must meet with a counselor to complete an Individual Education Plan.
A new EOPS student should make an appointment with an EOPS counselor.
A new Supportive Services student should make an appointment with a Supportive Services counselor.
