WELCOME to MPC!

Monterey Peninsula College offers stimulating, high-quality courses, programs, and student services to our diverse community.  The college offers a variety of lifelong learning opportunities.  It offers courses on campus, on line, and in the community.   A primary objective of MPC is to extend its services and resources to meet the community's educational, cultural and recreational interest.

As a student wishing to take courses for personal interest must complete the following:

• Apply for Admission
• Assessment-- Complete the English Placement Test or the English as A Second Language Test if the course you plan to take is an English class or requires an Engish course as a prerequisite.
• Complete the Prerequisite Verification Form if the course has a prerequisite.
• Meet with a counselor if you wish to discuss classes in which you are interested.
• Register for classes.
