TAAs/TAGs
MPC transfer students who participate in a Transfer Admission Agreement (TAA) or Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program can receive early review of academic records, early admission notification, and specific guidance on major preparation and general education coursework. You will need to meet with an academic counselor to complete the contract agreement. File fall 2008 for admission to fall 2009.
CSUMB: file TAA contract before Nov 30, 2008 and submit online application by Nov 30, 2008 for F2009
SJSU: file TAA contract by Oct 31, 2008 and submit online application by Oct 31, 2008 for F2009
SFSU: TAA program canceled for this year for F2009
UC Santa Cruz: file TAG Aug 1 thru Oct 15, 2008 submit online application by Nov 30, 2008 for F2009
UC Davis: file TAG Sept 4-28, 2008 and submit online application by Nov 30, 2008 for F2009
UC Irvine, Merced, Riverside, San Diego all have TAG with MPC, see your counselor for details.
Once your TAA/TAG is approved, fulfill all remaining coursework and GPA requirements designated in your agreement and apply for admission to the campus of your choice during the appropriate filing period.
