SCHOLARSHIP WEBSITES

FinAid.org: Established in the fall of 1994 as a public service; comprehensive annotated collection of information about student financial aid on the web—includes loans, grants, other types of resources and how to apply, good general info on using the net for searches with links to scholarship specific sites Also has sites for unusual (left-handed, Klingon, skateboards) and prestigious (lucrative, well-known, competitive) scholarships.

FASTWEB: a free database (watch out for request to purchase on every page!) that will provide list of scholarships based on criteria you enter. 

Scholarship Resource Network Express: 8,000 programs with a distribution level of over 150,000 awards for undergraduate and postgraduate students worth a total of more than $35 million, also includes student loan forgiveness programs for those who have graduated from college and need alternatives for repayment. Good FAQ page. Watch out for mismatches!

College Board's Scholarship Search:  locate scholarships, internships, grants, and loans that match your education level, talents, and background. Complete the brief questionnaire and Scholarship Search will find potential opportunities from our database of more than 2,300 sources of college funding, totaling nearly $3 BILLION.

Mach25: database contains over 600,000 awards totaling over $1.6 billion. Keyword Search gives you a quick way to narrow down to a particular scholarship or group of scholarships –tends to get BIG numbers, with no filters for your criteria.
