FREE TUTORING
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Any student enrolled in a course at MPC. Students must have completed the math and/or English assessment tests to be eligible for services.
WHAT SUBJECTS MIGHT HAVE TUTORS?
All courses except English, Creative Arts, PE
HOW DO I GET A TUTOR?
Fill out a registration form available on-line or outside the office, LTC 124. ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS COMPLETELY. DO NOT LEAVE BLANKS.
If you need help with more than one subject, you may list all of them on one tutoring form. Please do not submit one form for each subject.
Bring the completed form to the office. You must meet with ASC staff who will assign your tutor. Drop in during office hours or call for an appointment. Appointments must be scheduled in advance in order to meet with staff on Fridays. Registration cannot be completed over the phone.
HOW MUCH TUTORING CAN I GET?
You may choose 1 hr. or 2 hrs. per week, for each subject.
WHAT IF I NEED MORE TIME? WHAT IF I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY TUTOR?
