Articulation is a process in which agreements are developed between institutions which allow courses taken at one institution to be accepted in lieu of course requirements at another institution. By successfully completing articulated course at MPC you can be assured that your courses will fulfill the requirements at the four-year school with which they are articulated.
Monterey Peninsula College participates in the statewide articulation process. In California Project ASSIST keeps tract of all existing articulation between public colleges and universities. By visiting the ASSIST website you can see how MPC courses articulate with with courses at other institutions, view lower division program requirements at other institutions, and see which MPC fulfill CSU-GE Breadth and Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) requirements.
