Step 3: Assessment
Assessment of your reading, writing and mathematics skills provides you with information to help you choose classes that fit your ability--classes in which you are likely to be most successful.
If you are not exempt from assessment, you will need to complete the MPC English Placement Test or the English as a Second Language Test and the Math Informed Decision Assessment before you can register for an English or math course that has a prerequisite of English or math.
