The MPC Child Development Center
Operates under the auspices of MPC Student Services and is licensed by the Department of Social Services for 78 children. The Center performs a dual purpose for the campus community : high quality child care for students' families and an outstanding laboratory training experience for Child Development Majors.
The staff of the Child Development Center is credentialed professionals with many years of experience in the education of young children. The staff is augmented by Child Development students, parent volunteers and student aides. Children between the ages of two and six years are eligible. Children must be in good health, with all immunizations up to date. At least one parent must be enrolled at MPC taking minimum of 6 units of day classes leading directly to a vocation or profession.

Children must be enrolled a minimum of two days per week, three hours per day, 9am - 12 noon.
