MPC Health Center Services 

Health Center Services

Campus Services include: Services provided by appointment and on a walk-in basis during regular office hours (Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00 pm, CLOSED FOR LUNCH 12:00-1:00!

  • First aid and minor medical services for acute injuries and illness.
  • Over the counter medicine available at no cost.
  • Health Education materials available.
  • Tuberculosis screening (PPD) available everyday except Thursdays by appointment.
  • Physical exams provided for school program requirements by appointment only.
  • Student accident, dental, and health insurance forms and information available.
  • Health counseling and preventive health education available.
  • Referral to community medical resources when appropriate.
  • Physician on site for medical consultation by appointment.

FIRST AID AND EMERGENCY CARE:

In case of serious injury or illness call 9-1-1. Then, if on campus call Health Services (646-4017) and/or Campus Security (646-4099). Describe the problem and the location of the victim; stay on the line for further instructions.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) located at Health Services, the Security Office (College Center), and Physical Fitness Department.

It is especially important for students to contact Health Services if:

  • The student is injured on campus. Health Services handles first aid, injury/illness assessment, medical referrals, incident reporting, and insurance claims.
  • The student has a limiting condition or health problem. Health Services needs to be aware of students on campus with specific health needs.
