ALERT: Auto Burglary
The following information is provided, in accordance with Monterey Peninsula College’s Crime Reporting Procedure with your safety in mind.
On October 2, 2019, three auto burglaries were reported between 4 and 5 pm, two in upper A Lot and one at the Early Childhood Education lot. In most instances, valuables were left in out in the open. PLEASE REMOVE OR HIDE YOUR VALUABLES ... do not leave them in your car in plain view. Monterey Police are investigating the crimes.

MPC Security would like to provide the following safety tips to keep your property safe and secure.
- Lock your vehicle and DO NOT KEEP ANY VALUABLES IN PLAIN VIEW. Take your valuables with you or secure them out of view.
- Set your alarm and steering wheel lock device, if you have one.
- Be alert of your surroundings. Observe and report suspicious activity to Campus Security.
- Report any crime in progress by calling 9-1-1.
