Special Notice: Heat Wave and IT Systems

The central coast has experienced quite a heat wave this weekend! As a result, MPC’s data center experienced a disruption in service due to extreme heat conditions. This caused many MPC systems (including WebReg) to experience some downtime over the last few days.

The deadline for students to add full-term semester length courses, and to drop full-term semester length courses, was Saturday, September 2, 2017. The college will be offering an exception to these deadlines for students who tried to add or drop while WebReg was unavailable.

To add courses: please have your instructor sign a Late Add Petition and bring the form in person to Admissions & Records during the next two weeks.

To drop a course: please visit Admissions & Records in person before Wednesday, September 6 at 5:00 PM to request a manual drop process. This exception cannot be extended after September 6th, so please visit Admissions & Records between 8 AM and 5:00 PM on either Tuesday (September 5) or Wednesday (September 6) if you need to drop a full-term course.
