Congratulations Fire Academy Graduates!

December 19th, 2017 marked a special day for 13 of MPC's finest at the 31st Firefighter1 Academy Graduation Ceremony.  These students successfully completed a difficult but inspiring 17-week program at MPC and received their graduation certificates in a memorable ceremony attended by family, friends and numerous  dignitaries from local fire departments and the MPC community!

Attendees learned about the hard work and dedication required by MPC's challenging certificate program from invited speakers and enjoyed a special traditional class video produced by the students themselves. 


Awards were presented to  students whose efforts were recognized for the following accomplishments:
  • Most Improved Student Award: Andrew Dankworth
  • Most Dedicated Student Award: Trevor Hutchison
  • Top Academic Student Award: Edward Stefani
  • Top Manipulative Skills Award: Jack Baird
  • Leadership Award: Timothy Hutten
  • Top Gun Student Award: Edward Stefani

Special Scholarships were awarded to:

  • Bobby Clinton Knights of the Rose Scholarship: Kevin Coon
  • Jennifer Denmark Scholarship: Liliana Garza
  • Thomas Campbell Scholarship: Timothy Hutten

MPC wishes to commend all of the MPC Fire Academy graduates on their hard work and perseverance throughout the program and we look forward to hearing about the extraordinary accomplishments in your future as well!
