Open Doors to Your Future with Pharmacy Technician Training
Our Pharmacy Technician program in Continuing Education will prepare you to assist the pharmacist with mixing and packaging prescriptions, referring clients to the pharmacist for counseling, inventory control and purchasing, as well as collecting payment and coordinating billing.
This program includes 135 hours classroom training. You will learn drug calculations, purposes for medications, their effects, and proper dosages. You will learn all aspects of the prescription and the laws in regards to Prescription documentation. You will be able to practice your skills in a 120 hour Pharmacy Technician externship when class portion is complete.
Upon completion of this program, you will receive a Class Certificate, be eligible to take the State exam and apply to the State to become a Registered Pharmacy Technician.
You are required to pass a drug and background check prior to externship placement and State Application.
There are some expenses in addition to the cost of the class for:
- Books, Scrubs, Liability Insurance, Physical with Immunizations, CPR, Drug and Background screen, State Certification Exam Fee and Pharmacy Technician License

Requirements: Must have a High school diploma or a GED. Must be 18 years or older.
Fee: $2500 (No refunds will be made 30 days prior to the first day of class or after the class has begun)
