Summer CyberCamp at MPC!

For the 3rd consecutive year, MPC is hosting two Air Force Association's CyberCamps for middle and high school students in the Monterey Bay Area!!

Week 1: (June 17 - June 21) is designed for students who have no prior knowledge or experience in Cyber Security.

Week 2: (June 24 - June 28) is designed for students who have experience competing in Defensive Competition or have previously attended an AFA Camp.

These FREE summer camps emphasize fun, hands-on learning of cybersecurity topics that are relevant and applicable to everyday life. Through each of the the 5 day camps, students will learn the importance of cyber safety and how to protect their personal devices and information from outside threats.  Each week-long program ends with team competitions and awards. Many students that attend AFA CyberCamps go on to join a CyberPatriot National Defense Competition team during the school year. Get a head start on your STEM career and experience what makes CyberPatriot the best National Youth Cyber Education Program!

Dates: Introductory Session: June 17-21, 2019, Advanced Session: June 24 - June 28, 2019

Times: 9:00am - 3:00 pm each day

Location: Monterey Peninsula College

Room: BMC 205, 206 & 207

Cost: Free!!!! (includes snacks and lunch),

Ideal Candidates: Incoming 6th - 12th graders with an interest in computers, networking and cybersecurity.

*Please do not bring a personal laptop computer, tablet, or other materials.
