 A Few Words About Required Books in my Fall 2020 Classes:

If you enroll in my English 1A and English 2 classes  - you do not need to purchase any books. All course material will come from the MPC library databases and/or the internet and/or our Canvas class site page.

So...no books to buy for my English 1A and English 2 courses!  You can access readings on a computer or other device anytime.

For English 45 - Survey of World Literature IIyou'll need to buy books. Here's what you need to get: 

The Norton Anthology of World Literature, 4th Edition, Volumes D, E, F. The editors are Martin Puchner, et al. The ISBN # is 9780393265910.

 Make sure you buy the 4th edition.

You should have the books by start of semester, August 14, so you can begin reading right away!

For English 40A - Survey of American Literature I - you'll need to buy books. Here's what you need to get: 

The Norton Anthology of American Literature, 9th Edition, Volumes A, B, C. The editors are Robert Levine, et al. The ISBN # is 9780393264548.

 Make sure you buy the 9th edition.

You should have the books by start of semester, August 14, so you can begin reading right away!
