As described in MPC's Resource Guide to Institutional Decision Making, the Committee on Committees subcommittee of Academic Senate is responsible for the recruitment and replacement of faculty appointments to campus standing committees, hiring committees and special task forces.

If you are aware of a faculty position on a committee which is vacant or if you would like to volunteer for a committee, please use this Committee Vacancies Google document in edit mode to add your information.   Additionally, you should notify the chair of the COC by email at senateexeccommittee@mpc.edu.  Should you prefer, please complete the COC request form and forward it to senateexeccommittee@mpc.edu.

Committee recruitments/replacements will be identified based on specific committee needs and faculty members' interests, expertise, and availability. Openings will be announced via all users email at least a week prior to presentation of nominees to Academic Senate.  Nominees must be forwarded to the Academic Senate for approval.
