Meet Harin!

Harin immigrated to the U.S 5 years ago. He experienced identity crisis during his high school years, making him insecure coming into Monterey Peninsula College.

"Everyone sees a deformity within themselves," he says. "We have to learn to accept our own deformities and acknowledge the beauty in being imperfect. Even while saying this, I am contemplating at my awkward smile (on the left)."

Now, he is an active member of the Student Government and coordinates STEM CEL. Harin believes that there is no qualification needed for one's determination, as he describes himself "unqualified" coming into college.
