MPC offers AA or AS degrees in 36 of the 59 CTE programs available in California. Additionally, some departments provide a Certificate of Training to students who successfully complete a short term, intensive course sequence designed to prepare students for entry-level employment opportunities. Some of these short-term programs can be completed in one semester.

Students who compete a Certificate of Training program are encouraged to continue at Monterey Peninsula College to complete a Certificate of Achievement or Associate Degree.
