The Career & Transfer Resource Center offers career and transfer resources, workshops, guidance and referral. The CTRC Coordinator provides information on career exploration and choosing colleges. Services include computer accessibility for exploring online colleges and universities for transfer, searching majors and occupations using EUREKA (computerized software) incorporating career assessment, accessing directories and career specific books and assisting with college applications, Printing and phone services are available to use for career or transfer purposes.  

College representatives regularly visit the Center to meet with transfer students. The annual Transfer Day hosts over 45 representatives from the University of California and California State University systems, out of state as well as
independent colleges and universities. Information about ongoing and special events is published in the monthly calendar, posted on the MPC and Career/Transfer websites and e-mailed out to students who register. To be part of the e-mail listserv, e-mail the Career & Transfer Resource Center at

Transfer Admission Guarantees (TAG) are available to students who meet the eligibility requirements. Interested students should meet with a counselor to start the process. Students are strongly recommended to attend a pre-TAG workshop in March.

Transfer related workshops are held in spring and transfer workshops associated with college applications are offered in the fall semester. Students and adults in transition or needing help with major selection are referred to Personal Development class (PERS 71 Foundations of Career Choice).
