Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) is offered to students of California community colleges who meet the requirements for the TAG program. It offers early review and admission notification, specific guidance on major preparation and general education coursework. Interested students will need to meet with an academic counselor to complete the contract agreement.
UC TAGS are filed between September 1-30 online at uctap.universityofcalifornia.edu. The TAG is additional to the application for transfer filed between November 1-30 online at universityofcalifornia.edu/apply. A student can TAG only one UC.
Once the TAG is approved, all remaining coursework and GPA requirements designated in your agreement needs to be fulfilled.
