    Options for MPC Enrollment in High School

    To kickstart your college journey, explore programs designed to make enrollment easy.

    Traditional Dual Enrollment

    MPC's traditional dual enrollment program is open to middle and high school students ages 12 and up. Enroll in MPC courses alongside your high school curriculum. Gain valuable academic skills, better align yourself with high school and college standards, and explore career paths.

    College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP)

    MPC collaborates with K-12 school districts, providing college-level classes at local high schools to enhance college and career readiness. If you’re a student at Carmel, Marina, Monterey, Pacific Grove, or Seaside high schools, take MPC classes from the comfort of your high school campus.

    Earn College Credits Now!

    Take advanced coursework and earn credit for both high school and college. Here’s how. 

    Create an account or sign in to Open CCCApply. Within 1-2 hours, you should receive a student ID number by email. You will need to re-apply each term/session for which you plan to attend.

    Important: Save your confirmation number in case your application needs to be reset.

    Download MPC's Dual Enrollment Form. This form must be signed by your adult school principal or authorized designee.

    Submit your completed Dual Enrollment Form to the MPC Admissions & Records Office for Authorization. Forms can take 2 - 10 business days for processing. Students can check the form status under their MyMPC account > Registration Self Serviec > Prepare for Registration > Select a Term.

    Find the courses you are interested in taking on the MyMPC Portal and add your course(s) to your cart. Obtain an add code from the instructor if necessary.

    K-12 District Resources

    Learn more about the necessary steps for authorization and access to AB 288 CCAP programs. For more K-12 district-related questions, please contact the Admissions & Records Unit Office Manager at (831) 646-4002 or email admissions@mpc.edu.

    Authorized School Designee Form

    Principals are automatically authorized to sign a dual enrollment form. If additional staff members can approve dual enrollment, a Dual Enrollment Authorized School Designee form must be on file with MPC’s Admission & Records office.

    CCAP Records Request Form

    If your school is participating in the College & Career Access Pathway (CCAP) program, please use the CCAP Records Request Form to request final grade rosters for on-campus MPC courses at the end of the semester.
