Important Spring 2026 Graduation Petition & Degree Status Update
The Admissions & Records Office is currently processing a high volume of Spring 2026 graduation petitions. Thank you for your patience as we complete evaluations.
Check Your Petition Status
You can monitor your petition by viewing your unofficial transcript in MyMPC through
your Lobo Apps:
- Awarded: Your degree has been officially conferred and is reflected on your transcript.
- Denied: Your petition could not be approved due to unmet requirements. Do not worry: A counselor or evaluator will contact you with next steps.
If you have not been contacted by our office, your petition is still being processed.
Transfer Deadlines
Our Evaluation team is prioritizing Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT) and CSU/UC IGETC and Cal-GETC certifications to meet upcoming July university deadlines.
Due to the high volume of petitions, final degree conferral may take 3-12 weeks after the end of the term to appear on transcripts.

| August 8 | Last day of Summer Session; End of the 10-week and 2nd 5-week sessions |
| August 14 | Last day to submit official transcripts of final grades from other colleges where the student had courses in-progress (applicable for students with pending Summer 2026 petitions) |
Fall Semester 2026

| August 29 | Last date to drop semester-length courses and be eligible for a refund of fees including resident and nonresident tuition, as well as term fees. Tuition will not be returned if courses are not officially dropped and the tuition cannot be used to pay for other courses added. |
