Biography
After 25 years of installing and maintaining the finest gardens on the central coast, Alan is now a full time horticultural consultant, designer and educator. A new venture into essential oil production has led to designing habitat rich medicinal gardens. Alan has joined our MPC faculty to share his wide knowledge and practical, market based experience and to “give back to the industry that has been so good” to him. He began by teaching California native plants and plant identification. This semester he’ll teach our plant propagation course. Among his many passions is to “teach and train the next generation of horticulturists”.
