Anthony Villarreal

Biography

I teach sociology. I worked in restaurants, retail, and taught English and Spanish. My interests include reading, working out, hiking, and Caribbean drumming. I once pulled off a backside aerial, but now skate longboards. Sociology is dynamic and can lead to any career! I feel fortunate to teach community college, and I appreciate students’ ambition and resilience. I enjoy mentoring for transfer, study abroad, career, social change, etc. Sociology inspires.
